Cisco announced
that advances their security strategy for everywhere else in the cloud, the
network and endpoints with new security products and features, and service recognition
of the threat that organizations execute their digital transformation.
Specifically, Cisco is adding Cisco Cloud Access Security (CAS), which provides visibility and data security for cloud-based applications; Identity Services Engine (ISE) improvements, expanding the visibility and control over network and endpoint access controls with new location; and the service awareness of the threat, which gives organizations visibility into their networks threat.
The new Cisco
Cloud Access Security (CAS) offering enables organizations to address this
complexity and increase visibility and control over data in cloud applications.
The
partnership with Skyhigh Networks and Elastica, CAS provides a major visibility
of the "hidden" applications that employees can bring to the network;
detection of
malicious behavior; and
the ability to establish security policies that use custom applications and
user behavior to align with corporate policies. To
protect cloud-based applications like Dropbox and Salesforce.com, CAS prevents
the loading of sensitive information and inadequate data exchange applications
to limit infringements of data exposure.
Cisco Cloud Web Security now integrates with CAS
branches and provides secure Internet access to live router integration 4K Integrated
Services Router, the savings in bandwidth costs.Cisco Identity Services Engine
(ISE) is expanding business policies defined by software control over more
granular segmented endpoint, user and geographic access. ISE
now integrates with the Cisco Mobility Services Engine, so you can create and
enforce policies that define the location data access to a specific room. This
reduces the overall attack surface, containing network threats, and secure
access to the wired network, wireless remote throughout the continuous attack.
