Cisco Wins A Judgment In Patent Case Against Rival Arista

Cisco Systems Inc. scores a victory Tuesday ICT legal battle rival contre Arista Networks Inc., winning a ruling by a federal agency that could lead to a halt on imports of Arista networking hardware.

David Shaw, administrative law judge for the year ITC found Arista violated three patents of Cisco software with indoor switching systems used in the company. The decision, called an initial determination of date, is a step towards an exclusion order can import products ITC contre Arista.
Such decisions are subject to a final determination by the Commission, ruling expected Arista said in June. Any exclusion order can be blocked by President Barack Obama or overturned by an appeals court.

Mark Chandler, Cisco's general counsel, said in a recent interview That year exclusion order could come into effect in the summer, assuming neither the Commission nor President Obama decides to block it. He said he would be glad Arista Development software solution that does not infringe patents of Cisco.

"All patents affirm contre Arista were either invented by Cisco itself is devenu Arista executives, engineers working for Arista When used in Cisco executives," Mr. Chandler said in a blog post after the ruling.
